Last May 2023, U.S. President Joe Biden and Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. announced a U.S. Presidential Trade and Investment Mission, which will take place from March 11 to 12, 2024 in the Philippines to discuss several initiatives that can help boost potential investments and partnerships of American companies that can contribute to the Philippines’ innovation, clean energy, and food security.

In line with this, the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (AMCHAM), the Makati Business Club (MBC), the Management Association of the Philippines (MAP), and the US-ASEAN Business Council hosted a Joint Breakfast Meeting with U.S. Secretary of Commerce GINA RAIMONDO and the delegation of the U.S. Presidential Trade and Investment Mission on the 12th of March 2024, Tuesday, from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Fairmont, Makati City as part of the activities of the 2-day Mission.
